With the objective of exchanging experiences in community territorial monitoring in the Amazon region, in order to strengthen collective knowledge in governance, management and rights in defense of the territories, the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of the Ecuadorian Amazon (Confeniae) and EcoCiencia, together with several indigenous organizations of the Amazon region, met on October 13 and 14, 2022, in the community of San Juan de Piatúa - Santa Clara.

As part of the Amazonia 2.0 project in Brazil, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the State Secretariat for the Environment and Indigenous Policies of Acre (SEMAPI-AC) renewed the Technical Cooperation Agreement between the parties (TCA)

The Amazon 2.0 project in Brazil, in partnership with the Pro-Indio Commission of Acre (CPI-Acre), published in November a didactic material for remote learning in community-based territorial monitoring. The material consists of a three-module booklet and audiovisual material to support remote training and is available in Portuguese and in the native languages of the Manchineri, Jaminawa and Huni Kuin indigenous peoples.

In four sessions, between May 18 and 26 of 2021, Amazonia 2.0 (A2.0) provided a second cycle of virtual training, this time in English, to improve skills on the use of the Geovisor developed by the project.
