EQUIPMENT DELIVERY TO BENEFICIARIES AND ALLIES OF THE PROJECT IN ACRE
During the months of September, October and November, the national coordination of the Amazonia 2.0 project in Brazil delivered equipment to project beneficiaries and partners in Acre.
The purpose of the equipment delivery is to strengthen local institutions and support the continuity of territorial monitoring and community surveillance in the territory covered by the project.
Four multifunctional printers, one multimedia projector and 16 smartphones were donated to the Association of Indigenous Agroforestry Agents of Acre (AMAAIAC), the Association of Kaxinawa Producers of Aldeia Nova Fronteira (APKANF), the Chandless State Park administration and the Pro-Indian Commission of Acre.
Since the beginning of the project, these have been the key actors for the implementation of the actions, and with the completion of the project, it is expected that the institutional strengthening and capacity building actions will move forward.
